| Day One: |
| Pick up from the hotel after breakfast
and drive to Mbale town. After lunch do shopping for foodstuffs
needed during mountain climbing. Proceed to Budadiri where
you will begin climbing the following day. Dinner and
overnight at Roses Last Chance Hotel. Accommodation here
is simple but clean with basic needs. |
| Day Two: |
| After breakfast, continue with the hike,
Lunch, dinner and overnight. |
| Day Three: |
| After breakfast, continue with the hike,
lunch, dinner and overnight. |
| Day Four: |
| Begin on the descent trail. Lunch, dinner
and overnight in trail hut. |
| Day Five: |
| Last day in the mountain. After breakfast, continue
descending on the trail with lunch break on the way before
finally arriving at Sipi. Overnight at Sipi an up Market
lodge or Kapchorwa / Kapkwata or even drive to Mbale or
Jinja depending on the difficulties involved during return
trail. |
| Day Six: |
Check out after late breakfast and drive back to
Kampala.
End of Tour of Mt. Elgon.
